Well.....
my child has less than 1yr. to go and she'll be 18yrs. old.
And she's counting down the days too....lol.

Her schools marching band went to a competition yesterday and they came home with 5 trophies. They're good!

And another one or 2 of mz. Jenna.

The countdown to Christmas has begun.....less than 3 months and I'm not even close to being ready. I think I've got 2 or 3 gifts and that's it. Not like me cause I'm usually almost done by this time every year.

Glad the weather is changing *a little*. Being from southeast Alabama....it doesn't change too much. I don't even get to see the leaves change colors.

Back again....
Well, my birthday was this past Monday and it was a pretty good day to turn 41yrs. young.
Got the same from my daughter as last year........NOTHING! Not even a Happy Birthday mama. oh well......she'll regret it one day!
On the other hand, hubby cooked me roast, taters, & carrots. And cupcakes since I'm not a cake & ice cream girl. And my pixel sisters gave me goodies that I absolutely LOVE!!!!!!!!! Thank You Angela & Cally......love you both!

Fall is supposed to be here, but with some temps still close to 90 during the day, I'm not so sure.
I'll be glad when it does start cooling down though.
Here in lower Alabama we don't get to see the leaves change to pretty colors. I hate that! But at least I can see it in pictures.

My daughters high school are 5-0 now. Her marching band isn't that enthused though. They don't like football playoffs. But that's part of being in the band.
The band has a competition next Saturday. I hope they do real good.
And goodie, goodie.......I got the info for the Spring band trip. It's to Orlando/Tampa, FL.
Maybe she'll be able to go on this trip. She's been doing pretty good about being good for a while now. And OMG!.....she is addicted to the Spice Girls. Yep....I know they're old news, but she dug out her videos & cd's & plays them over & over constantly.

Hopefully I'll have new pics to share next time.

Well.....took a little while again....oops!

Since most of you (my friends) know that I have Muscular Dystrophy.......
I'll let ya know something.
I can't stand Jerry Lewis and his telethon!
I see where he raised $61 million this year *yesterday*.......and still there's no sign of a cure for any type of MD over all of the years he's been collecting money.
I can't get any help from them because I won't go to their docctors.
I'm not gonna go and let them put me on all kinds of medicines and drugs that AREN'T going to help me!
I'm sorry if I sound mean, but all I see is money coming in and trials on mice.
Ummmmmmm...............mice are not humans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

k.........enough of that!

Some people are such idiots.
Go in and hack sites....delete sites........and laugh about it.
What do they get from it? NOTHING!

Kristen picked out her class ring today....ughhhhh......almost $500!
She swears she's gonna pay half of it......we'll see.
And she owes us for where we paid a guy to have his car fixed where she backed into him.....another $600!
She's gonna owe us til she becomes an old lady......lol.

Not much happening today.
I did give myself an early birthday present by getting a membership to Perfectly Pixeled Signatures. I've been wanting to join this part of Deidre's site for a while now.
Sure there are plenty of others out there that I want to join too.

I'm ready for Fall to get here. It's too dang hot here.
I know it's hot everywhere and I feel for you all.
Especially the ones that aren't used to it.

Gotta get to bed so I'll be ready to work on my site some more tomorrow.

I am so sorry about forgetting to post here.
But with everything else....
sites...groups...forums...a teenage daughter...sharing computers...a niece to spoil...Avon business...just EVERYTHING in general.
Hopefully with school starting yesterday, I'll be able to get back to a fairly normal posting on my blog.

Now I'm making my niece her own site. So that's taking some time.
Trying to get her pics and videos that I have saved on my computer uploaded and added.
It's a slow work in progess when you only have dial-up.

My child is now a junior. Her first day was yesterday and she seems to think she'll like it.....good!
Her section leader training, rookie camp, and band camp went good. Looks like she'll have fun this football season.

Just wanted to drop in here and get my blog going again.

oops! I've not posted for a while again......Sorry!

Well....May is here and almost over now.
Let's see what's happened.....

Kristen's finished with her 10th grade year and will be a Junior in August.
She's excited about being section leader in band.
She's going to try to work extra during the summer to earn more money....Yayyyy!!!!!!! lol
She's doing better than before, but knowing me....I just jinxed myself.

My niece Jenna will be 3 months old next week and it's hard to believe she's that old already.
She's teething.
She's saying "Mama" already. But only because I talk to her and it's not baby talk either. I figure she'll learn faster if we talk every day words to her.
My other niece Molly, Jenna's sister graduated 5th grade this past week. She'll be starting middle school in August. Poor girl....she's a little pitiful this weekend cause she's got to go to her daddy's in Virginia for at least 2 months for the summer.

We lost my Aunt Dot to cancer on May 6th. It was hard cause we've always been close. She had a bout with breast cancer last year and beat it, but not even 2 months ago...doctors found 8 tumors on her brain and spots on h er lungs. Never smoked a day in her life either!
Things are slowly getting better.

Gonna do more updating and work on my sites this weekend...planning to anyway.

Almost the end of April.......
where has this month gone??????

Not a whole lot going on around here.
Just trying to deal with the 90's temps and it being hotter than hell.

Don't ya wish money would increase in your income like the prices on EVERYTHING goes up?
It's ridiculous! Not just gas prices....it's everything.
And why?
Like the old saying...."the rich keep getting richer and the poor get poorer".

My child is finishing up the 10th grade in 2 1/2 weeks. Hard to believe she's only got 2yrs. left in school. But time flies too!
Jenna was 2 months old Tuesday and getting bigger and smarter. And trying to talk, but nothing wants to come out for her...lol.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

Well....the date went good. He ended up giving her 6 red roses & a stuffed animal on top of going to see Scary Movie 4, eating at Longhorn's steak house, & shopping at super Walmart since the mall was closed on Easter Sunday.

Hubby took some pics of the little bugger...oops! niece Jenna and they've been developed. I'm going to post some of them too. She'll be 2 months old next Tues. the 25th. So alert and recognizes more than those so-called experts say she should. They don't know everything like they think the do....lol.

School's out in 3 weeks for the summer. Kristen will be junior in August. She's trying to become section leader as I said before, but the band director told them it'll be a few weeks before he makes his decision. I hope she gets it. It'll give her something else to do during the summer other than work and sleep.

Our weather has jumped from late Winter to Summer. It's 90's already and HOT!!!!

Gotta get some work done at my site today since I updated yesterday for my paying members.

Kristen's gone......

She's gone on her first date with her boyfriend.
They've been on and off 3 times over the past year, but she says they're getting along better this time around. She says that she believes it's like the saying "Third time's a charm"....lol.
The first time he broke up cause she wouldn't "give him any".....Second time was just "teenagers".....So, hopefully this time it will work out. He's a well-mannered young man.
Only problem is.........
This date is an hour from home. We have to go out of town to movies, get something decent to eat, or go to a mall. We have no movie theatre, nothing better than Pizza Hut, Wendy's, McDonald's, & KFC to eat, and no mall at all.....just Walmart.
I hope she uses her common sense and knows what not to do.
They're both 16 and alone.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Hubby took new pics of Jenna today in her Easter outfit. Hopefully they'll be good.

Things here going pretty good.
School will be out in a month.
Kristen is trying out for section leader in band.
I hope she gets it. It'll give her something to do for a while in the summer, other than work.

My poor old dog that's 14 is feeling so bad today. Not sure if it's his arthritis or what it could be. He's having trouble moving around. And he acts like he's freezing.
He's got to get better. We couldn't handle losing him.

First off....let me apologize for not posting before now for so long.

My sister had her baby and I've been pre-occupied with her for almost all of this time.
Jenna Elizabeth was born Feb. 25th....6lbs. 8ozs.
Now she's about 9lbs. and alert and noticing everyone around here by voices.
I'll post some pics of her.

Things here are okay, but Kristen just seems to think that nothing exists except her. It's all about ME, ME, ME and to hell with everyone else. I swear I feel sorry if she ever gets married or has kids. Even the kids will be 2nd. She is full of hate and anger and we didn't raise her to be this way. She hates me and hubby because we want her to make something of her life and do good in school. She can't stand it cause we don't let her get out and run like a wild teen. She's very lucky that her daddy doesn't tear her tail up, but he won't touch her even though there are times he'd like to. She thinks since she's 16 and driving that she ought to be able to do like she would when she's over 18. uuuhhhh!!!!!.....I don't think so! I'm ready to pull my hair out.

And then last night I was a total basket-case.My 10yr. old niece accidentally dropped Jenna (the 1 1/2 month old that I ramble on about). My sister only has hard-wood floors and she said that she heard Jenna when she hit the floor and she was out on the front porch. Jenna had a little goose egg on the back of her head. She took her to the ER and after a cat scan and complete check-up, the doctor said she was fine. Molly, the 10yr. old, was trying to answer the phone when she dropped her. The doctor just told her to cuddle her a little tighter from now on.I know that I cried for over an hour. I was way too upset to be on the computer for anything. I tried playing solitaire and couldn't even see the numbers on the cards.But I've been able to spend my chat time with Jenna today and I'm better. And she's definitely better.

My Jovi Sister Diane just gave me the 2nd BEST thing since I wasn't able to make it to any concerts in Atlanta. She called me from her 2nd show in Tampa and I got to hear most of the concert. BON JOVI still ROCKS & KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!
I'm such a happy girl now :)

Well, Motley Crue is less than 1hr. from me tonight and I can't go.
Bon Jovi will be in Atlanta again in a week and I can't go.
Sooooo........I just go on with my dull life.

The crazy weather has all of sudden realized that it's winter and the temp is supposed to drop. And here in Alabama where I live. It's 70 one day, then 50 the next. Crazy Weather!!!!!!!!

I posted last month about my sister being pregnant.
Well.....she's got less than a month. I think it's gonna be in the next week or two.
The doctor says the baby is getting ready to come into this big bad world.

I'm still about the same healthwise. Not really getting worse, but definitely not getting better either. Both of my legs have been bothering me quiet a bit lately....a little numb all over with burning and tingling in them. It's a little irritating! But I've got to live with it.

Why do I wonder this?
Because Kristen got her first job yesterday, went in for orientation today, and starts her first hour this Thursday......and she needed her social security card and "WHO'S" supposed to keep track of EVERYTHING in the house? Me! Mom! Secretary! Not supposed to forget a damn thing!!!!!!!
I wish people could take care of their own things because I have a hard enough time coping with the crappy hand that life dealt me. But nope!!!! What are they gonna do when I'm not around any more? I love 'em all! But I can't remember everything!

Sorry for going off, but......I'm tired of being bitched at! And then in return it's....."I want"! "I need"! and not a bit of a Thank You, Drop Dead, or Kiss My Ass..........GRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got out of my rut of not being able to see Bon Jovi last week. It just took a good cry that night and the next day was okay.
Now I find out that my #2 fave - Motley Crue - is gonna be less than an hour from me and I still can't go because of health and money issues!

Got my Sig Club/Graphics Shop opened and nothing yet. It's a bit disappointing, but I'm not giving up yet. Gonna keep working on making it better. And needing to find my muse so I'll be able to give my members a good update soon.

Well, the reality of it being Jan. 17th has set in.
Bon Jovi is in Atlanta, GA tonight and because of health issues and money being way too tight, I'm not able to go see the guys again. Didn't make it to the Bounce tour and now not able to make it to the HAND tour either. I've been about ready to cry all day long. But there's nothing I can do about it.
My health issues are to the point that I'm not even comfortable enough to go to town anymore. I haven't been in Wal-mart for about 1 1/2yrs. I'm not able to ride for more than a few minutes anymore....much less 3hrs.
Enough of this feeling bad.......
I am HAPPY for those who are able to go and have a fun time.
Have enough for me too please!

This stupid weather........it's 70 degrees outside and the weather is supposed to get terrible later today.

I got my Graphics Shop/Sig Club opened up finally.
Now it's just sit and wait to see how it goes.

Well, it's Sunday the 15th and it's so nice and sunny outside.
The cat keeps trying to open the storm door to let herself out even though she's an inside cat.
She's got a little rubber ducky that she's treating like a baby. It's cute watching her walk around carrying this ducky like a baby. Kristen took a pic of her sleeping with her "baby" yesterday. When the roll gets full and I get them developed, I'll post them.

Not a whole lot going on.
I've updated my site this past week.
And I'm opening my graphics shop/sig club this week too.

I can't believe we're in the second week of 2006 already.
Time is getting away from us already.

I know that I'm in southeast Alabama and we hardly ever have what a lot would consider a "real" Winter, but it's over 70 degrees today and is supposed to be almost every day this week.
Don't get me wrong.....I don't want snow either! lol

I worked all weekend on changing the entire look at my site and members area. And I've worked on getting my Sig Club/Graphics Shop opened soon too.

Never mentioned it before, but my sister is pregnant and due in less than 2 months now. And she just isn't showing like a woman in her 8th month. She looks pregnant, but she's not showing like a lot of women do. The doctor says the baby's fine, so that's all that matters. The baby's a girl and her name is "Jenna Elizabeth". Can't wait!!!!

Kristen's doing so-so on the attitude and mouth department. She's planning on spoiling this baby, so she needs to straighten herself up. Got her report card from the 2nd 9 weeks.....A's, B's, and 1 C (79). This semister she has honors English, honors Social Studies, Geometry, and concert band. Homework!!!!

I just hope to make it safely through another year.
And I hope without all of the health issues and NO teenager problems!!!!!!

Why is this world so full of "hate" related kids? music? movies?
I just don't understand!
When I was a kid...I knew to respect my parents and grown-ups in general.
Kids these days only care about "ME" "ME" "ME".
I hate to know what it will be like "IF" they have kids of their own.
The poor kids will be so neglected.
Sorry to bring this up, but it's the way my kid is.

Been doing okay this week, except for migraines that have been horrible in the mornings.

I'm back.....sooner than you thought I bet...lol

I thought this was supposed to be winter????????
Well...here in Alabama, it's almost 70 degrees today. It's HOT enough to wear shorts! This is ridiculous! Don't get me wrong....I don't want it 30 degrees either, but it's WINTER!

Not doing anything today.........YET.
I wish that I could get into my cPanel at my site so I can change my layout and update some, but the server isn't working right for me. Guess I'll have to wait.
I'll just go make more outlines for my members area and make more tags to add to my graphics shop that I'll be opening up next month.

Just 1 more day of this year left?

Okay....so I forgot about my blog with all of the health problems I've been having recently.
Hopefully I'm back now.......

Well....now Christmas is over and the thoughtless kid isn't happy with what she got. Even though it was stuff that she would've bought if she had her own money. No part-time job for her yet. And still grounded after months. She says that she guesses she'll never learn. If that's the attitude she wants to have, then we...the parents...can't do anything but keep her grounded to keep her out of trouble. Not "breaking the law" trouble......Just keeping her from making stupid decisions on what she does in life.

I sure hope like hell that 2006 has better things in store for me and my family. I can't take another crappy year like this one's been.

I'm just glad the holidays are finally over with too. They've got to be better next year too....PLEASE!

Health Problems....
As many of you know, I have Muscular Dystrophy and for the last 3 weeks it has been giving me a lot of trouble. The type that I have..."Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy"...takes away the muscles in the arms, legs, and pelvic area. My left leg has been numb for over 2 weeks now and my arms are feeling weaker. Last night, I just about lost all use in my left arm and hand and it's so frustrating.

I am very thankful to have a caring family (hubby, sister, mama, daddy, and aunt) that are here to help me all the time. Because unfortunately I haven't been able to walk or stand since I was 20 and that was 20 years ago since I'm now 40. I had to learn to get used to it, but that still didn't make it any easier. I have to have help with just about everything that I do except for my computer use...for now.
I'm not gonna sit back and give up.......I CAN'T!!!!

Hopefully this will pass soon and I can get back to everything that I love to do.

I WILL still be posting here and keeping up with as many of my groups and forums and sites that I'm in.

Well...ever since my last post, the grounding is still going okay.
Kristen got her license last Thursday. So finally.....we don't have to ask for her to have a ride to school anymore. It's nice being able to let her go on her own finally. YES! it's scary, but we knew it was going to happen sooner than later. Poor thing though.....yesterday she ran out of gas on her way to school around 6am. She was supposed to be there by 6:15 because of a AG trip and didn't make it. But I gave her money the night before and told her to get gas and she was going to wait til she started back home. She's a very paranoid girl about being somewhere wayyyy ahead of time instead of just barely getting there. Which I'm glad about that. Maybe she'll never be late for anything....as long as she's got gas. She's being very cautious when she's driving too. She said that if something comes on the radio that she doesn't want to hear, she still concentrates on the road.....whew! Yep! she's still grounded, but she does have less than 2 weeks now.
As for me....with my MD, I'm having a few bad days lately.
My left leg has been numb since Saturday and the only thing I can think that it could be is a nerve being pinched. And if I could just pop my hip, it would feel better too.
Go ahead and call me crazy, but............I haven't been to a specialist for my MD since I was 14yrs. old.....26yrs. ago. *ducking as things are being thrown at me*
And....no I don't have a local dr. either, but that's gonna be cured soon. I'm going to get a complete check-up as soon as I can.
I'll let you know when I do and what she says.

Okay...we're here and doing a bit better....for now that is.
I hope it stays fairly good for a while.

I'm doing good too.
Got a much needed update done in my members area at my site.
But...my muse needs to come storming back. I want to update with a huge upload soon.
I know that there are new, never thought of before outlines to do. I just wish that I could reach out and grab them. I have made in pretty far in the time my members area has been opened...almost 600 outlines now since starting out in June with 155.

BON JOVI hits the tour trail SOON!!!!!!
I can't wait. Even though I may not be able to make it to another concert because of health problems. I sure hope that I can though.

Well...today went a bit better.
She got grounded til the end of Oct., then we'll see how she's been and decide what to do from there. That means the attitude, mouth, etc.....
So......that means NO sweet 16 birthday party, but she brought it on herself. I hate it, but I'm fed up!
I'm doing better than yesterday. Cause all I wanted to do yesterday was go away...far, far away!

Goodie for me....Today's my 40th birthday..... My hubby had to work today, so no going out to eat. He did give me the new Bon Jovi cd/dvd that I was waiting to be released this past week. So I'm happy about that. Here at home, the only birthday wishes that I've got were from the 2 men in my life (hubby and daddy) and my sister. My daughter on the other hand is thoroughly pissed at mom right now because I told her daddy a few things last night that he needed to know, so she's NOT speaking to me at all. Oh well!
Problem is.....She'll be 16 in 1 1/2 weeks and she thinks that she should be able to make ALL of her decisions on everything in her life. She thinks that she needs to be treated like a grown up. And that we shouldn't make any arrangements in how she gets home from school, football games, band competitions, etc.... I told her the other day that she was riding home from an away game Friday night with a friend that lives a few yards away. And she had the nerve to ask me "Who I thought I was making plans for her to get home". That really made hubby mad. Then yesterday she had a competition out of town and instead of asking her daddy, she waited til he left for work to "tell" me to write a note to the band director so he'd let her ride home from the competition with another so-called friend. I asked why she didn't ask him and she said cause she didn't want to get in trouble for asking and not riding back home on the bus. I wrote the note cause I knew that I'd never hear the end of it from her. She's really trying us and I don't know what to do. He's laying the law down tonight and grounding her for a month, but I don't know if that will work cause I'll still catch hell from her.
As many of you know, I'm disabled and I don't know why she's doing this to me. It's not physical abuse, but a whole lot of verbal abuse. And lots of mind games. I've been disabled all of my life, so she has grown up for almost 16yrs. with me not being able to walk or do like other moms can do for their daughters/kids. But this year, I've felt like I've had to just about buy her love and she still can't say "I love you mom".
Back to the so-called friend that I talked about above....She's almost 26yrs. old, a "grown up" and that's why Kristen thinks she's supposed to be able to do like she does. We try to keep her away from this woman, but there are days when we need someone to pick her up from school, band practice, etc....and she's the only one we can get to. She acts, looks, and just leads us to believe she's gay and I don't want her influencing my daughter in any way. And we don't know why, but Kristen is so "obsessed" with her. Hubby's putting his foot down since she doesn't want to mind me or listen to anything I have to say anymore. I love her to death and I'd give up my own life for her, but I can't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!

Okies....it's Monday...yuck!
The in-laws were here for the weekend. It was nice seeing them. Hubby had to work the whole weekend....so it's a good thing we get along with each other. MIL had a bout with breast cancer earlier this year and she's doing very good now. FIL had a bout with Leukemina about 2 1/2yrs. ago and he's doing real good now too. So they're out traveling a bit to visit some of the family.

My daughter played at their 3rd football game this past Friday night. They won again! She told me that the football team is gonna have to slow down cause she doesn't want to go to the playoffs....lol.
She's still doing great in school. Gonna be getting her license in about 2 weeks. Watch out world!! No really she is a good driver.

I'll be updating my members area at my site this week. I've started a new doll outline/base. Got to make her some clothes now. Can't have her running around nakie...lol.
And I want to change the look to a Fall layout this week too.

I'll be turning 40 in 2 weeks. And it's not a bad thing cause I don't feel like I'm going to be 40.
My new Bon Jovi cd is supposed to be released next Tuesday Sept. 20th. I can't wait! Got to get it! I will have it! lol

Not doing much of anything today except wanting to update my members area a little more today sometime. I added more outlines last night. I've gotta feeling my muse is wanting to show herself sometime today, just wish it would happen in the next hour or two...lol.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.
And if ya got plans for Labor Day, I hope they turn out good too.
Hubby's gotta work, so nothing special going on around here.
Gotta get ready for his parents to show up next weekend. We all get along though, so it's not a problem there.

Sorry about the delay in making another post, but the hurricane and every day life sorta took first place around here.
We didn't get much other than rain, winds, and a few tornado warnings from Katrina....Thank goodness! I feel so sorry for all of the damage that she did. And I'm keeping those people affected in my thoughts and prayers. It's a mess! And hurricane season still has 2 months to go.
Well tonight was the 2nd football game and our high school has won both so far. And from what I've heard since I wasn't able to go last week, the band did a very good job. I'm glad for them cause their band director works their butts off. Tonight was an away game.

Seems as though my muse has wanted to hide a bit. I really need to make an update at my members area and I don't feel like I'm getting enough done to give to my members. I've gotta find that muse wherever she has ran off to. I'm planning on an update this weekend though. I've got to!

I'm doing okay health-wise. Just sore and can't seem to get rid of the pain some days. But that's life.....gotta deal with it and go on.

okie dokie....here I start with my first post to a new venture.

It's Friday and there's so much going on today.
I'm trying to get things set up so I can open a Sigtag Club within the next week or so. I want to start this out with at least 100 sigtags for everyone to choose from at a cheap membership price.
First I've tried catching up at all of the pixel forums and MSN groups that I'm a member/manager of and then I made this blog. Next I'll be opening psp to pixel for hours this afternoon/evening.

As many of you know, I have MD and I'm not able to work outside the home. So I have found that pixeling helps me get through my days and just having great friends on the internet...in general. Some of you I feel like are my "sisters" and I love you to death.

My MD has been acting up a little lately giving me problems with me having to sit all the time. So my hips are killing me by the middle of the day, and the only thing that I can take to get rid of the pain is Excedrin. So I take a few and the pain eases off for the rest of the day.
Like another friend with MS.....I'm NOT backing down! I refuse to let this disease take over my life! I have too many things to live for....my hubby, my daughter, my friends and family, and just life in general!

My daugther's in the 10th grade this year. She's in the marching band and tonight's the first football game. It's a home game, but hubby's gotta work and so we won't be able to see her halftime routine for the first game....grrrrrr! She says that she understands, but with these teen years....whose to say that she really does?!?! I love her to death, but that mouth and attitude are just about to drive me crazy. That's why I have my internet/computer life.

Okay....I guess that's enough ranting for my first post.
